Frequently asked questions
- How do I play?
- Tap two matching tiles that are free to remove them. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open. Clear every tile to win.
- Which tiles match?
- Identical tiles match. Any flower matches any flower, and any season matches any season.
- Can every board be finished?
- Yes. Every deal is built so there is always a way to clear the board.
- What if I run out of moves?
- The game tells you, and a Shuffle mixes up the remaining tiles so the board can be won again.
- Can I undo?
- Yes - Undo is free and unlimited.
- I'm stuck - what can I do?
- Hint shows you a matching pair. Hints and extra shuffles cost coins you earn by playing - or you can watch a short optional ad instead.
- Is there a timer?
- You can show or hide it in Settings. There is never any time pressure.
- Can I see which tiles are free?
- Yes. The game can highlight free tiles and dim the ones that are blocked - you can turn this on or off in Settings.
- Is this gambling?
- No. There is no betting, no real-money prizes and nothing to win except the satisfaction of clearing the board.
- Do I need the internet to play?
- No. True Blue Mahjong plays fully offline. You only need a connection for optional ads.
- Will I lose my board if I close the app?
- No. It is saved after every match. Uninstalling the app deletes your progress.
- Are there ads?
- There is a small banner along the bottom of the screen and optional video ads you can choose to watch for free help. There are no pop-up ads that interrupt your game.
- How do I report a bug or ask about my data?
- True Blue Mahjong sends no progress or personal information to us other than an anonymous activity signal while the game is open - see our Privacy Policy for details. For bugs or any other questions, email us at [email protected].
